Wild harvested from Saint Lucia where I buy direct from the farmer. Comes directly from the ocean in Laborie St. Lucia or Praslin. Choose from green, purple, or full spectrum multi-colored which includes a blend of green, purple, and gold. If you're interested in purchasing large quantities of moss, please do not hesitate to email me to discuss.  We can provide documentation that the sea moss is authentic.

Purple Sea Moss contains powerful antioxidants called Anthocyanins, which are commonly found in blue and purple fruits or vegetables. Anthocyanins are linked to health benefits such as stronger bones, a healthier heart, lower inflammation and protection against certain types of cancers. Purple Sea Moss is more rare to find and dried in a dark room to avoid losing it’s unique color and benefits.

Green Sea Moss is high in Chlorophyll, which is widely known as the “life force” of plants and is what gives plants their natural green color. Chlorophyll is an all natural body deodorizer and detoxifier. It is also great for healing the skin and reducing bacterial growth in wounds. Green Sea Moss is more rare to find and dried in a dark room to avoid losing it’s unique color and benefits.

Full Spectrum is a mix of the Gold, Purple and Green Sea Moss. Perfect for those who want all the benefits!

Sea moss which is harvested from the ocean (and isn’t gold) is immediately laid out to dry. It isn’t cleaned beforehand to help preserve its color. When sea salt water dries, it leaves a dusting of very fine salt. It isn’t coarse like table salt. Before soaking your loss, be sure to wash it. This will remove the salty taste. As colored sea moss goes through the drying process, many of the vessels containing pigment burst open. Purple sea moss contains the pigment anthocyanin, as explained above. Because anthocyanin is water soluble, they will change the color of your water when soaking. Therefore, when sea moss is soaked, the pigment will leak into the water the longer it's soaked. Over soaking your sea moss is not recommended. Soaking the desired amount for 8-12 hours is best, and if you soak it longer you will want to change the water to avoid any possibility of mold growth.

Our sea moss comes packaged in a plastic bag, or a pouch for 4oz purchases. We recommend transferring the moss to a container that has a lid. It should be stored in a cool dry place.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR SEA MOSS AND IS IT REAL?

I am an Import/Exporter. While visiting St. Lucia meeting with the Minister of Agriculture regarding other commodities, I was approached by someone in the Government who asked me about importing sea moss into the US. I didn't know anything about it at the time, however put a team of people on learning more about it. I met with a sea moss farmer who's family harvests the sea moss from Praslin, St. Lucia. I've been out on the boat to harvest it, have seen the facilities it's stored in, and myself and my team then learned everything we needed to know about sea moss and making gel. Our chemist then spent time developing the best formula for making gel. We bought gel from 20 different competitors and learned that the majority of them either boil the moss, or have contaminants in their gel. This is how we learned how heat impacts sea moss, and how to make a pure product that contains all of the minerals that make sea moss so beneficial to our health. Our moss has been certified as legitimate, and we can provide documentation from the Minister of Agriculture in St,. Lucia for everything we import. I visit every few months regarding moss and other imports, but always stop by our sea moss family that is responsible for bringing us such an amazing product.

We only sell wild harvested sea moss, which is a naturally occurring plant. Wild crafted sea moss is not naturally occurring and is grown on ropes in unnatural environments. People will try to tell you that wild crafted sea moss grows naturally, but it doesn't. It is planted, much like a garden and is not organic. There's a ton of information out there that is not true, especially online. For instance, contrary to information posted on the internet, sea moss does not attach to rocks as rocks offer absolutely no nutritional value.

We do not accept returns or refunds for sea moss for any reason. We can provide importing documentation from customs, the waybills, and documentation from the Ministry of Agriculture to support its authenticity. We do not accept returns as once it leaves our possession, we are not able to validate that the moss wasn’t contaminated by the buyer, and with Covid and this being an edible product, we cannot take the risk. All sales are final.
